INTERIM LEADERSHIP

Interim management.
Accountability for programmes and operations.

When a programme is under pressure, a production ramp-up stalls or a leadership gap needs to be bridged, daily operations need direction and decisions. conXisto Consulting takes operational responsibility, combining stabilisation with a structured handover to your organisation.

TYPICAL SITUATIONS

When operational leadership cannot wait.

01

Critical programmes

Milestones are at risk, dependencies are unclear, or decisions are getting stuck between functions and sites.

02

Production ramp-ups and industrialisation

A new plant, a new product or a production ramp-up requires coordinated management across production, procurement and supply chain.

03

Leadership and change

A vacancy or a demanding period of change calls for interim leadership with clear accountability and close involvement of your teams.

OUR CONTRIBUTION

From assessing the situation to operational leadership.

01

Programme leadership

Structure priorities, milestones and responsibilities; clarify decision-making and escalation routes; manage progress across functions.

02

Operations and ramp-up

Connect industrialisation, production and supply chain; make risks and shortages visible; coordinate the necessary actions in day-to-day operations.

03

Governance and handover

Establish appropriate meetings and reporting, use relevant performance indicators, and hand over responsibilities and outstanding issues clearly to the permanent organisation.

WORKING OUTPUTS

A clear mandate needs clear criteria.

At the outset, we agree the scope of responsibility, the urgent decisions and the criteria for progress and handover. Depending on the situation, working outputs may include a realistic milestone plan, a prioritised action list, and clear responsibilities and escalation routes. These are used with your teams and refined throughout the assignment.

Questions about working together

How does interim management differ from advisory work?

Interim management involves taking an agreed leadership role and scope of responsibility. This includes decisions, working with your teams and operational delivery. Advisory support can complement the assignment or be agreed as a separate engagement.

How are the scope and duration of an assignment defined?

We start with the situation, the responsibility required and the intended handover. Scope, on-site presence and duration are agreed together; there is no fixed standard term.

Can an assignment span several sites?

The experience of conXisto Consulting includes international teams and cross-functional coordination. We agree which sites are involved and how on-site work and cross-site coordination will be organised for each assignment.
